Tissue Viability and Lymphoedema Nurse
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional, dynamic and self-motivated specialist tissue viability nurse to work within our friendly and supportive TVALS team. We are looking to appoint an experienced registered nurse with clinical expertise in tissue viability, wound care and lymphoedema management. The successful candidate will also be a visible and accessible role model, have excellent communication and leadership skills, and be committed to improving outcomes for our patients
Main duties of the job
It is essential that the post holder will be a caring, passionate and patient focused practitioner who will actively lead and manage the prevention of avoidable pressure ulcers, complex wounds and support patients with the management of their lymphoedema across Doncaster and Bassetlaw.
The successful applicant will be committed to quality improvement of the service in line with our joint service specifications and accountable care approaches with Commissioners. They will also contribute to the development and delivery of education and training that will motivate staff to improve practice and ensure safe and effective patient care.
