You will manage a caseload and consider the patients strengths, difficulties, and employment assets in order to offer them most effective support and work towards their goals.
The employment goals could include:
- To find a suitable job
- To return to work from a period of sick leave
- To improve the working environment in which the client is working
- To leave work and find suitable alternative employment.
Employment Advisors will also work collaboratively with step two and step three clinicians within Talking Therapies and where needed, refer patients to other support if they have particularly complex barriers.
