Job summary
To lead the Trust's Learning, Education and Development function; managing a team of specialist staff to identify, develop and implement a programme of Learning and Development for all Trust staff which will support the provision and ongoing development of high quality services and enable the Trust and its staff to realise their full potential.
Main duties of the job
To deliver the principles of Transformation by reviewing current services focusing upon aspects of: quality, performance and efficiency; integrating services in the portfolio to ensure organisational development, mandatory and specialist training and optimal learning environments throughout the Trust.
To work effectively within a multidisciplinary and multi-provider setting, holding self and colleagues to account appropriately and demonstrating personal commitment to integrated (managerial/professional) leadership.
To meet objectives within an agreed set of performance targets.
Provide services within the agreed financial resources and achieve all financial targets, including cost efficiency savings ensuring maximum value in terms of clinical and cost effectiveness.
To contribute in the planning and delivery of service objectives and work with commissioners and educational institutes to manage specific change projects as required, ensuring patient focus, safety, consistency, quality, and cost effectiveness.
