Job summary
We have recently embedded two new Quality Development Lead roles in our Acute Directorate which are proving a great addition to a work alongside our ward and urgent care teams to focus on improving the quality of the care we deliver.
We are now seeking to cover one of these posts for 12 months due to maternity leave.
The posts cover areas across Adult Mental Health, Crisis Services and Older People Services. Working closely together on several workstreams focusing on quality improvement projects by upskilling staff to drive excellence in care delivery and on the patient pathway, ensuring timely flow, and involving patients and carers in every step of our service delivery. Main duties of the job
We value highly motivated, enthusiastic and resilient staff to work alongside out team whilst taking responsibility for coordinating and managing autonomous workloads. These post holders will work closely with the matron to ensure we are proactively addressing gaps in knowledge base and enhancing the clinical services we deliver.
If you are forward thinking, a strong clinical leader that possesses a good working knowledge of the principals of acute psychiatry we would welcome your application. Support will be offered through regular supervision, weekly established band 7 meetings, in-house and external training and as well-established clinical lead forums to learn and develop with peers across the care group.
As we have two posts available, we are also pleased to be able to offer this opportunity to any allied health professional with a comprehensive background in mental health, or a registered nurse.
