Primary Care MH Team Secretary - Apprenticeship Opportunity

Job summary
We are looking to recruit a team secretary to support the management and secretarial functions within the Rotherham Primary Care Mental Health Team. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the mobilisation of a newly created team, working as part of the Rotherham Community Mental Health Transformation Programme.
We are seeking someone who is able to use their own initiative within set boundaries of the post, who has strong organisational and prioritisation skills. Someone who is able to be confidential, supportive, creative and dynamic.
If you don't already have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, RDaSH are offering this post alongside the opportunity for you to complete a Level 3apprenticeship qualification [relevant to your role].
As an apprentice within RDaSH you will be given the opportunity to gain experience, learn work-related skills and obtain all the tools needed to thrive.
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. Around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying. This leads to a nationally recognised qualification.
Whether you already work for us or are joining the Trust and NHS for the first time, apprenticeships can help you to develop the skills, knowledge and know-how in order to embark on a successful and fulfilling career within the health service.
Main duties of the job
- Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the teams as appropriate
- Deal with routine correspondence and telephone calls.
- To provide administration support to identified work within the pathway as requested
- Distribute relevant information to internal and external organisations on behalf of Team Manager
- To undertake any duties in line with the Team Manager or service's requirements as requested.
- Participate in ensuring efficient day to day management of the administration office, including booking meetings, events and meeting rooms.
- Supporting the Team or Service Managers with requests for information.
