Job summary

An exciting opportunity has become available for a volunteer(s) to support groups running in Ferham Clinic in Rotherham.

The role involves meet and greet, supporting patients to access the groups and the clinics facilities during group times. Offering a social setting either side of the group to make people feel welcome and supported alongside staff. This is a face to face group. All out of pocket expenses will be provided.

Main duties of the job

The volunteer is required to work within the list of tasks identified as follows:

Ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patients attending the groups.

Escort patient if they need to leave the group and allow access back into group.

Offer teas and coffees in the break.

Spending time with patients if they require time out (non-clinical).

  • Reporting any concerns to the Supervisor / Service Manager.
