Job summary
The Senior Support Worker role will work within the ADHD services and contribute to the assessment, implementation and delivery of high quality patient care.
The successful candidate will have relevant experience, excellent communication skills, and be committed to delivering high quality care. Good team working and interpersonal skills are essential as is an ability to manage own time and lone work for periods of time. A good understanding of ADHD would be useful but training and support will be offered.
If you don't already have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, RDaSH are offering this post alongside the opportunity for you to complete a Level 3apprenticeship qualification [relevant to your role].
As an apprentice within RDaSH you will be given the opportunity to gain experience, learn work-related skills and obtain all the tools needed to thrive.
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. Around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying. This leads to a nationally recognised qualification.

Main duties of the job
To work in the multi-disciplinary team supporting the triage, assessment and implementation of treatment for patients with ADHD. Supporting in the ongoing physical health monitoring of patients. Supporting the implementation of treatment plans as identified by the registered nurse. Working alongside colleagues to triage and screen referrals and patient self-report information as part of the assessment process. The role will be based in a team however is part of the Trust-wide Neurodiversity directorate so will work and support across all localities.
