Job summary

The Team Leader will be responsible for the clinical leadership, staff management, development, supervision and professional direction of the 0-19 team, specialising in School Nursing.

The Team Leader will support innovation, the delivery of evidence-based practice and quality service provision.

The Team Leader will ensure that audit programmes, supervision, sickness monitoring and PDR processes are in place. As well as contributing to IR1 management, EHCP process and ESR.

The Team Leader will be responsible for facilitating effective communication within the team.

The Team Leader will be engaged in Clinical Practice and advise others in their clinical practice.

Main duties of the job

  • The Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day supervision and leadership of staff and deployment of resources within the integrated area team.
  • To provide support to the Service Manager to meet the aims, objectives and service specification of the 0-19 (25 SEND) Health and Wellbeing Service
  • To develop and support staff who provide services for Children, Young People and Families within an area team.
  • Support the Trust as a learning organisation and in delivering a quality service.
