Job summary

This is a newly created Team Manager post. We are a dynamic, performance driven and outcome-focussed CAMHS Community Eating Disorder Service looking for an experienced manager to help guide us through an exciting time of service re-design and future service developments.

Your role will involve supervision, line-management and development of staff, as well as representing our service internally and with external stakeholders. You will support and input into the clinical leadership of the service, as well as maintain oversight of clinician activity, caseload allocation and ensuring we achieve national targets regarding triage and providing assessment and treatment.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a candidate with experience of leadership, developing staff and a good understanding of both current CAMHS/CEDS priorities and potential developments moving forwards.

The team is forward thinking and strives to deliver the highest quality care with the resources available and in a timely manner, by working together and being solution focused.

The candidate will provide the operational leadership for the team and will be supported by clinical leads. They will be responsible for over-seeing the performance reporting, data capture and oversight of audit completion in the service. They will also be responsible for the day-to-day management of the team, including monitoring of sickness, performance and staff development.

With a professional qualification e.g. Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD), Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Art Therapist, with current professional registration e.g NMC, HCPC and a degree/diploma level additionally supplemented by specialist qualification, training, experience, courses relevant to children's mental health.
