We have an exciting development and growth opportunity to work within the Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) team and the wider organisational development function. In this role you will be part of a social movement that challenges unwanted and discriminatory behaviours and promotes the positive actions of Allyship, civility and respect, kindness, inclusion, employee voice and compassion.
Through delivering a range of activities that support healthy, real, challenging and transformational workplace conversations with teams, you will help us to bring to life and embed our RDaSH values of caring and safe, open, progressive, passionate, empowering and supportive. Our mission is to ensure all colleagues feel valued and appreciated, have a voice, feel safe, included and are able to develop and thrive at work.
To do this we need someone with lived experience, empathy, passion, drive, motivation, tenacity, resilience, confidence and steadfast commitment.

Main duties of the job
To support the EDI Team to present qualitative and quantitative data and actions plans to address deficits.
To be a point of contact by ensuring that they are a visible, accessible, and assertive figure to whom colleagues can turn for assistance, advice, and support.
Support, advise, coordinate activities which ensures a delivery and outcomes focused approach to EDI workforce improvements.
Deliver training activities with an outcome focused approach to EDI workforce improvements.
Lead on specific aspects of EDI work and projects. This includes the Anti-racism work related to Promise 26 and the development of Allyship training and awareness within our culture work.
- To constructively challenge discriminatory practice in all areas of their work. This will involve excellent and well-developed listening and negotiation skills, where barriers to acceptance are encountered.
