As a member of RDaSH Podiatry Foot Protection Services you would have:
o On the job training. An annual appraisal/ personal development plan. Supportive Mentorship, Preceptorship program and essential learning required by the Trust. RDaSH engage, involve and support staff to reach their full potential.
o Provide a quality service, develop partnership working with other services and organisations.
o Support the podiatry staff with interventions including assessment, treatment and empowerment of patients who meet service criteria.
o Support the patient / service user to make use of available services and facilities.
oTo become part of our Team- involvement in team meetings, make valuable suggestions to influence and help make changes to service, to use innovative technology and make a real difference to patient's health.
Due to the need to travel between locations during the working day carrying equipment, it is essential that applicants are independently mobile in a suitable vehicle.
Main duties of the job
Undertake agreed activities as delegated by a qualified Podiatrist, with patients / service users under the direct /in-direct supervision of the qualified staff.
Contributes to the assessment, implementation and delivery of individualised evidence based care.
To maintain accurate records in all settings electronically, record new problems as they are identified and report all actions to podiatrist in charge/case manager.
Provide feedback of current patient / service user status to appropriate members of the professional team.
Develop a rapport with patients / service users and encourage them to participate in the rehabilitation/ healthcare programmes and activities.
Complete the relevant treatment and intervention in accordance with the skills map
Assist the relevant professional during assessment / treatment / intervention where required
