Job summary
Further to a number of people recently securing promotions, we are now very pleased to be recruiting permanently to two vacant Service Manager jobs, across our Care Groups, as follows:
- Service Manager - Childrens Care Group CAMHS (Getting Advice Pathway)
- Service Manager - Physical Health and Neurodiversity Care Group (Unplanned Care)
As well as managing a portfolio of clinical services, as a Service Manager you will be a key part of our new directorate leadership teams, working with matrons and other clinical leads. Reporting to the new Care Group deputy directors, you will have key responsibilities for delivering against national and local targets, including those around workforce and training; within a balanced budget and in the context of our newly launched Clinical and Organisational Strategy.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for highly motivated individuals with proven management skills, including the ability to use financial and other data to drive the delivery and improvement of high quality, effective and efficient services. You will also need to be able to communicate with a wide range of people, including challenging constructively where needed.
The Service Manager is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day delivery of designated clinical services and ensuring that those teams are performing in terms of patient outcomes, metrics, measures and targets.
They are also accountable for making sure hat the Trust's strategy is executed locally and that standards of safety are maintained at all times.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care that is consistent with the values of the organisation.
