Job summary

Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust primarily provides Mental Health Services, Community and Learning Disability Services to the people of Doncaster, Rotherham, and North Lincolnshire

We are now recruiting Admin and Clerical staff to the Trust's Internal Admin Bank across all localities.

This is a great opportunity for new staff to benefit from working in varied clinical and non-clinical settings and for staff already employed by RdaSH on a full and part-time basis to experience different service areas.

Main duties of the job

The Admin Bank provides temporary workers for all departments and areas throughout the Trust to undertake clerical/secretarial duties.

For the role of Band 2 Clerical Officer you must have RSA Level 2 or equivalent qualification in word processing, or comparable level of keyboard skills and experience of working with Microsoft Office IT package.

For the role of Band 3 Secretary you must have RSA Level 3 or equivalent qualification in word processing, or comparable level of keyboard skills with appropriate experience in Secretarial and Administration within an office environment. Also required is word processing or equivalent and you should be able to demonstrate working on your own initiative and have experience of prioritising your own workload.

The job title and banding will be determined according to qualifications, experience and level of functioning.

Please note we will shortly commence a consultation regarding the possible transfer of the Admin Bank to NHS Professionals. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to transfer to NHS Professionals should they wish to assuming the transfer goes ahead. Further information regarding the transfer will be communicated when timescales have been finalised.
