We are seeking to recruit an Assistant Psychologist with an interest in Clinical Neuropsychology and Neuro-rehabilitation. The post offers the opportunity to work with patients with a wide range of neurological conditions and would suit individuals with the ability to be have a strong and communicative presence within interdisciplinary teams. At present the Clinical Neuropsychologists within the service provide input across Doncaster's Community Stroke Rehabilitation Team, Neuro Outreach Rehabilitation Team and the post-acute Neuro Rehabilitation inpatient ward.
These posts offer an exciting and varied opportunity to gain and develop skills in neuropsychological assessment and neuro rehabilitation in both in patient, outpatient and community settings. Case work will include working directly with patients and their families, as well as consultation work with health and social care colleagues.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidates will have a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and previous experience working within a setting relevant to Clinical Psychology or Neuro Psychology.
The posts will allow opportunities to contribute to service based evaluation work, service development and teaching programmes. The service has good links with both the Sheffield and Hull Clinical Psychology Training courses.
The successful candidates will work closely with the Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist, with additional opportunities for support from the other Clinical Psychologist and Psychological staff within the service.
