We are a small team who have the pleasure of working with patient experience and community involvement across Doncaster, Rotherham, and North Lincolnshire. We will support the delivery of the new Trust Clinical and Operational Strategy, and lead the delivery of the LIVED Experience plan, with a focus on Lived Experience, Involvement, Volunteering, Experience of patients and carers and families, and Diversity of membership and leadership.

This is an exciting time to join the revised portfolio, working across the organisation, in each of our Places and systems, and with our communities and neighbourhoods. We have a track record for working in partnership locally and are keen to develop this further.

Main duties of the job

We have the pleasure of recruiting for a full-time band 6 (Agenda for Change) Patient Experience and Involvement Lead.

The post holder will lead on all aspects of experience and involvement, working with all people and communities, and with a focus on inclusion health, and reducing health inequalities in terms of access, experience, and outcomes of healthcare. You will be a skilled communicator, engaging with colleagues, patients, carers, and the public. You will be skilled at listening and responding to feedback and be able to develop and lead changes that support quality improvements. You will support the team to grow our approach to involvement ranging from Trust membership through to the code-sign and the co-production of services and developments.
