Job summary

We are looking for an exceptional person to work as the Strategic Development Manager in the Strategic Development Team. What we can offer you is to join our team at a challenging yet exciting time as the Trust shapes the delivery of its Strategic Objectives and Promises, works pro-actively across two Integrated Care Systems and three different places. Most importantly, working to give more power to our communities. You will also help shape key Promises of work such as addressing inequalities.

Main duties of the job

Reporting to the Senior Strategy Development Manager (who held the post before), you will be enthusiastic, innovative, and highly organised. Also, you will need to have experience of business management and development have broad knowledge how the NHS operates. You will help us make sense of what might seem a bit ambiguous at the time, through good research and analytical skills. You will have great opportunities to work with our clinicians, managers, colleagues and community partners to drive change and improvement for our patients, staff and local communities. You will also be responsible for managing strategic developments in your portfolio, through effective collaboration with others.

  • Educated to degree level in an appropriate area of transferable relevance (or is able to demonstrate equivalent experience plus a baseline attainment at level 5 with a commitment to undertake level 6 at the point of employment)
  • Evidence of continued professional development.

Desirable

  • Relevant professional qualification in respective portfolio area e.g. CMI, ILM
