Job summary
This exciting opportunity will see the successful candidate support the recently rebranded Talking Therapies service (previously known as IAPT) in RDaSH. This role will support the Head of Service in delivering key objectives on quality, achievement of service KPls whilst taking on clinical leadership for the service. They will be responsible and accountable for Talking Therapies teams, supporting high quality delivery of Talking Therapies services and service development in line with national guidance and local plans. They will manage and support Talking Therapies teams to deliver high quality and effective services, including improving accessibility to reduce health inequalities and provide clinical leadership over Talking Therapies, working closely with care groups and RDaSH psychological professions. The successful candidate will be part of multi-disciplinary management teams, ensuring Talking Therapies services are fully represented in and aligned to wider RDaSH agendas and developments including the development of Primary Care Network mental health services. The role will see the successful candidate provide high quality line management of staff within the portfolio ensuring all staff receive clinical and managerial supervision, are suitable trained and have a regular PDR. A successful candidate will promote and display positive leadership via personal actions and support the Trust's key policies and agendas whilst deputizing for colleagues as required.
Main duties of the job
- Management and clinical leadership of a number of Talking Therapies teams
- Delivery of high quality services through the management and deployment of resources within a defined budget.
- Supporting wider leadership development and facilitating clinical and other staff involvement in service planning and improvement
- Ensuring recommendations from Serious Incidents, near misses, complaints and other incidents are
- Ensuring systems are in place to safeguard people who access services in line with Adult and Children's Safeguarding procedures.Compliance with all requirements related to the delivery of Talking Therapies services
