Job summary
The post holder will be responsible for assisting Lead L&D Facilitators and colleagues with the development, implementation and sustainability of innovation across L&D services portfolio. The post holder will support quality learning environments for student placements to enhance their learning experience which will have a positive impact upon patient care and staff well-being across RDaSH.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within education and the successful applicants will be supported to maintain professional registration. As this is a secondment, please ensure you have permission from your current manager before applying. Job shares will be considered.

Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities associated with the role:
- Support team members to create, implement and evaluate facilitation, education and training activities.
- To offer direct and indirect support, coaching, supervision to current and future workforce.
- To be 'floor walkers' and work alongside current and future workforce to ensure that every opportunity is provided to achieve actions and outcomes where possible.
- To support current and future workforce in situations where there may be difficulty to achieve the action plan or outcome.
- To promote effective communication, practice and behaviours with the current and future workforce.
- Facilitating the development and maintenance of key roles such as key trainers, champions and supervisors across relevant service areas
- Supporting and promoting values based inter-professional learning activity to current and future workforce enhancing the learning environment.
- To actively engage with internal and external partners to enhance the learning environment.
- Engage and participate with operational, corporate, support services and partnership place based organisations to carry out and promote joint activities.
- Lead and expand learning environment opportunities, as necessary, across a broad range of disciplines / professional areas
- Engage and participate as directed by Lead L&D facilitators in the delivery of IMAST, multi professional placement learning activities and other L&D services related subjects.
