Specialist Speech & Language Therapist (Band 7)

Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Speech & Language Therapist to join the Adult Community Learning Disability Services in North Lincolnshire. We are a warm, friendly and motivated team with a real passion for supporting people with a learning disability to achieve their best lives.

The service operates under the core hours of Monday-Friday 9:00-17:00.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a professional with leadership skills and a passion for working with people who have a learning disability who can contribute on the development of the AHP service in North Lincolnshire. The successful candidate will have oversight of the planning and delivery of a highly specialist speech and language therapy service and to oversee its clinical governance.

You will work together with multi-disciplinary colleagues within the team and externally to ensure the needs of the local learning disability population are addressed.

You need to be a good team player and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of current evidence-based practice, and have access to transport and the ability to travel around the required geographical area. You will also be vaccinated for COVID (unless exempt).
