An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated, enthusiastic and innovative individuals to join one of the UK's founding IAPT services here in Doncaster. As a trainee Cognitive Behavioural Therapist you will gain the opportunity to learn and work alongside team highly skilled and diverse therapists. We have training positions within the Core and Long Term Conditions Services. The Doncaster LTC service was established in 2018 and specialises in treating patients with co morbid physical and psychological problems

Main duties of the job
In this role, you will provide High Intensity CBT interventions whilst undertaking a programme of training which commences in March 2023 in collaboration with University of Hull; the post is full time 37.5 hours. This training post will equip you to deliver a range proven Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) interventions to clients with a range of common mental health problems in primary care.
You will be required to attend taught and self-study days provided by the University two days a week. The remaining 3 days of the week you will work within the Doncaster IAPT Team.
On successful completion of the course you will be expected to work towards and maintain full accreditation with the BABCP.
This role is fixed term for 12 months, which will become a permanent band 7 High intensity CBT post on successful completion of the course.

- Maintain up to date clinical records, including electronic data entry, text processing, report compiling.
