Job summary
The RACPC ( Rapid Access Chest Pain Clinic) Co-ordinator role is key to the the services provided within the Cardiology Department.
Main duties of the job
You need to be able to mange a busy fluctuating workload , whilst adhering to strict time frames. Excellent communication skills are required for this role as you will be speaking directly with patients to offer appointments and provide reassurance and guidance. Booking of RACPC appointments is done on both the TOMCAT and PAS systems. Use of other hospital systems will also be utilised within this role. Liaising on a daily basis with the RACPC Nurse to ensure clinic completion, collating GP referral for triage , creating templates for clinics. A need for learning is required as full training will provided for the role.
