This role is designed to support your development into a Band 3 Clinical Support Worker within 6 months, following successful completion of training and competency assessments.
You will be part of a supportive team, working under the supervision of registered professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients in hospital or community settings.
Main duties of the job
- Provide personal care including bathing, toileting, dressing, and feeding
- Record patient observations including vital signs and escalate concerns
- Support clinical procedures such as wound care, venepuncture, and catheter removal (after training)
- Assist with medication administration and oxygen therapy (after training)
- Escort patients and support enhanced observations
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient dignity and confidentiality
