Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IMT3 rotational post covering Cardiology and Gastroenterology at Eastbourne District General Hospital. This is a fixed term post for 12 months, allowing a 6 month rotation in each specialty.
The post will provide the post-holder with a wide range of clinical experience in Cardiology and Gastroenterology to prepare them for future ST4 applications.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will be expected to work across the identified specialty ward and outpatients. They will participate in the acute general medicine registrar on-call rota. There will also be opportunities to attend outpatient clinics in the respective specialty.
They will work closely with the multidisciplinary team and will have close supervision and training from the Consultants. The post holder will be supported and encouraged in gaining subspecialty experience and in applying for a training post if they so wish.
