PAS Support Officer

Job summary

We're looking for three Support Officers who will undertake the day-to-day administration of our Patient Administration System (PAS).

This will include maintenance of the system and resolving calls that have been raised, liaising with system users around the set up and configuration of the system and dealing with any issues.

The roles will be based at Eastbourne DGH with the occasional requirement to travel to other sites and opportunities for remote working.

Main duties of the job

In this role, you will assist in the maintenance of our PAS, amending the build/configuration of the system as required. This will include changing personnel and clinic information, creating, maintaining and amending letter and label templates and patient data maintenance.

We're looking for people who have experience of using patient or customer focussed digital systems, ideally gained in a clinical support team.

As a significant part of the role will involve liaising with system users, good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly will be key. Our ideal candidates will also be proactive in their approach to work, able to investigate problems with data or software and be a good team player, able to support and encourage others.
