An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team lead within our Acute Stroke team at Eastbourne District General Hospital.
As part of this role, you will manage a team of Occupational Therapists and support staff providing a high level of acute rehabilitation to patients admitted following an acute stroke.
As part of the Acute Stroke therapy department, you will be joining a large supportive team passionate about caring for the residents of East Sussex. You will have the opportunity to conduct in-service training programmes for support staff and manage a dedicated team on a day to day basis.

To co-ordinate and operationally manage the specialistOccupational Therapy Service at the Acute Stroke Ward atEDGH.
Working closely with Allied Health Professional Leads,nursing, medical and managerial team leads / managers, inthe operational and strategic development of the Stroke Unit.Supervision team of junior OT and OTAcolleagues and support staff providing training and jointsessions as required.
Deliver a high standard of clinical care and maintainservice delivery by flexible, effective and efficient prioritisationbased on sound clinical and professional judgement.
