Job summary

East Sussex Healthcare Trust (ESHT) is looking for an exceptional Chief Finance Officer to help drive successful financial performance, understanding and outcomes across our ambitious Trust.

ESHT is an extra-large multi-site Trust with complementary acute services across two DGHs alongside a wide range of community services. Our budget is c.£700m and we employ c.8000 staff. Main duties of the job

Experienced in financial strategy, governance, planning and performance, our CFO will play an essential role in shaping the financial framework from which ESHT can deliver exceptional patient care. You will understand the delicate balance between financial efficiency and clinical excellence and know how to shape conversations that drive both. We take culture seriously, so you will take a proactive role in modelling desired leadership behaviours to ensure we maintain the conditions to empower people to work effectively, in service of our strategic priorities and our patients.
