We are seeking a clinical fellow in robotic pelvic & upper tract surgery to join our department from March 2025.The post is for one year initially with a view to extend.

Main duties of the job
Conquest Hospital has a well-founded Urology department, delivering outpatient activities and a smaller Investigation Suite for flexible cystoscopy lists.
Eastbourne DGH is a cancer centre for urological surgery & currently provides a robotic and laparoscopic prostatectomy services & renal cryotherapy/laparoscopic partial nephrectomy service for patients across Sussex. There is also a lithotripsy service

The successful candidate will be expected to agree a formal job plan with the Clinical Lead, Service Manager and Medical Director indicating the number of programmed activities, within 1 month of taking up the post.
The post-holder will be expected to cross-cover essential services when his/her colleagues are on leave.

- Completed at least four years' full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time or flexible basis) at least two of which will be in a specialty training programme in a relevant specialty or as a fixed term specialty trainee in a relevant specialty; or shall have equivalent experience and competencies
- Evidence of competence in robotic upper tract surgery
- Wide experience in general urology
