ESR Support & Development Manager Band 7 (with Annex 21 applied if trainee appointed)

This is an exciting opportunity for either an experienced ESR specialist or an ESR end user who already has a good grounding in ESR or related workforce systems. This role sits in a progressive department that offers clear career opportunities and succession after training is completed.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a forward thinking, innovative team player who is enthusiastic and who will establish themselves as a key point of reference for all matters relating to the Trust's ESR (Electronic Staff Record) system.
You will directly lead a small team but will indirectly lead both the HR function and Trust with ESR related changes and continuous improvement initiatives. You will need to be able to prioritise work to deadlines as well as have excellent communication, organisational skills and high attention to detail.

- Educated to Degree level in a relevant discipline, or equivalent knowledge plus proven recent experience
- Additional specialist knowledge of workforce management systems.
- Management/leadership qualification
- Documented CPD in systems governance, quality and risk management to Master's Degree level or proven equivalent experience

- Recognised training qualification

- Experience in supporting and managing use of NHS HR / Rostering systems
- Experience of working in a senior role with a wide range of staff (all levels, all grades) to deliver service improvements
