Job summary

East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person to join our team of Finance professionals. We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated Credit Controller.

You will be a self-motivated, pro-active individual with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills. You will be able to analyse, interpret and present finance data including aged debt reports, to both finance and non-finance staff.

This is challenging role in a complex and dynamic environment. The organisation is looking for a skilled Credit Controller with outstanding attention to detail. You will have the opportunity to support the key functions within the Financial Services environment. This role is crucial in supporting the cash position.

The successful candidate should have previous Credit Control experience . Knowledge of NHS Finance would be an advantage but not essential.

Main duties of the job

This is a challenging role. The post holder will have responsibility for daily monitoring of the aged debt position, liaising with both NHS organisations and private individuals to ensure the debt position is below the required level. The post holder will also support the Financial Services team in reconciling complex data and cover of cash office duties when required.
