Lead Phlebotomist

Job summary
We are looking for an experienced phlebotomist to lead our Conquest and Bexhill CDC phlebotomy team. This is a hands on role providing a ward and clinic service to both adults and children 5 years old and over.
You will demonstrate team leadership in the daily provision of the service including managing basic HR processes, team training, H&S and rostering to ensure a safe and effective service 365 days a year.
Main duties of the job
Main duties will include supervising, managing and motivating team members as well as providing a quality clinical service and use your phlebotomy experience to maintain the team's venepuncture competency.
You will build relationships with wards, OPD and others throughout the Trust and explore service improvement opportunities. This role would suit someone who is proactive, embraces change, has high standards and enjoys working with the public. You will be organised, an excellent communicator and have proven leadership skills.
