Job summary
We are seeking a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a special interest in Gynaecological surgery - laparoscopic and open to join our friendly and busy team.
Full registration with the GMC is essential. Applicants will need to be on the specialist register or within six months of CCT date.
Main duties of the job
This is a new post which has arisen due to an increase in demand in the clinical service. There will be a non-resident on call commitment and then clinical sessions to complement the needs of the Department and to manage the Gynaecology waiting list. The post holder will be expected to be able to undertake Laparoscopic hysterectomies independently.
