Job summary
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic Registered Nurses to help us deliver high quality patient focused care in our busy Ophthalmic day surgery unit.
You will have the opportunity to develop your skills within this interesting and varied speciality. Experience in this specialty is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided and you will be well supported by the existing team members.
Full-time/ part-time/job share candidates welcome
The department has a team of practitioners that support the ward, theatre and pre-assessment clinic and is open week days 7- 19:30
Main duties of the job
To work mainly within the Ophthalmic day unit, supporting patients throughout their journey
Assesses care needs and develops, implements and evaluates programmes of care.
Provides specialist information and support within the Ophthalmic Department.
