Medical Administrator - Head & Neck (DAS)
37.5 hours per week
We are seeking enthusiastic and organised individuals to join our administrator team with a focus on medical rota's and co-ordinating leave and booking locum doctors.
Main duties of the job
The post holders will support the Management Team by overseeing the medical rota's for Head & Neck cross site.
Reporting into a Service Delivery Manager and working in partnership with a peer on site, this role is pivotal for providing rota cover which in turn ensures our patients receive high quality and timely care.
Good previous use of Integra for ordering purposes and other ESHT systems would be an advantage.

- Good general education to GCSE Grade C including English and Maths
- NVQ3 in Business and Administration
- Diploma level Business / Administration / IT qualification or proven equivalent experience
- Ability to undertake further training required in post
Desirable
- Personnel administration qualification eg CPP Advanced IT qualification
- ECDL qualification or equivalent (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience

- Substantial administration experience in NHS or similar complex organisation
- Experience of computerised record systems and data storage/retrieval/analysis
- Experience of complex diary management/rotas
- Experience of working on own initiative and solving problems
- Experience of personnel administration processes
Desirable
- NHS administration experience in a similar post
- Experience of managing an office
- IT System administration experience

- Good interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and written. Able to communicate effectively, efficiently and professionally at all levels with good negotiating skills.
