Locum Consultant Dermatologist
(Conquest base but some cross site working as required)
Part time 8.0 PA An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dermatology Consultant within the Specialist MedicineDivision to join our established Dermatology Team of specialty Trust doctors and specialist nurses with the aim of providing high quality safe outpatient and inpatient care.
Main duties of the job
The Department is therefore looking to appoint an individual who are experienced, dynamic and committed in delivering services that reflect best clinical practice within the specialty of Dermatology. The applicant will have experience in diagnosing and managing all aspects of general dermatology with an emphasis on skin cancer and surgery.
The post will support inpatient referrals to the speciality and provide clinical expertise to the referring medical teams.
This post will provide consultant leadership to the supervision ofnursing teams delivering phototherapy, photodynamic therapy, drug monitoring / biologics clinic, patch testing and intralesional steroid and botox injections.
