Are you someone with knowledge and experience of managing digital assets looking for the next step in your career?

If so, we have an exciting six-month fixed term or secondment opportunity for a Digital Asset Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will oversee and manage the entire lifecycle of our digital assets, including security, inventory, internal/legal compliance and usage. They will also lead and motivate a small team to ensure they provide a professional, responsive and high quality service. They will have good knowledge of standards for asset management and team management experience.

The post can be based at either Conquest Hospital, St Leonards or Eastbourne DGH, with the requirement for frequent travel between Trust sites.

Main duties of the job

The Digital Asset Manager will protect and secure the Trust's digital asset portfolio, optimise the total cost of ownership and sustainability by minimising operating costs and risk and contribute to improvement of investment decisions whilst capitalising on potential opportunities.

The postholder will support the Head of Digital Delivery with the identification, classification and specification of all hardware Configuration Items (CIs) and their interfaces to processes, ensuring the correct recording of information relating to storage, access, service relationships, versions, problem reporting and change control of CIs.

They will be responsible for the application of status accounting and auditing, in line with security throughout all stages of the hardware asset lifecycle.

They will provide line management support to the team and work closely with our other Digital teams.
