Job summary
We are looking for a qualified Chef to work with the Rye Hospital Team within the Catering Department as well as on our other ESHT Sites. Also must be able to work alone in this varied position. Producing, cooking and serving the required meals for the Patients and staff at Rye Memorial Hospital including any special diets needed. Carrying out hygiene tasks to maintain the high hygiene standards in place. Placing provision and chemical orders with our authorised suppliers.
Main duties of the job
Produce, cook and serve required meals for Rye Memorial Patients or other sites as required including special diets
Order required provisions and chemicals from Trust authorised suppliers
Liaise with Ward staff, patients , deliveries etc as required
Maintain high standard of hygiene within the kitchen areas
