Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual able to work autonomously in providing nurse led clinical interventions within our integrated Contraceptive and Sexual Health ( CASH) services.
We are recruiting into one full time 37.5 hour position
Main duties of the job
You will be based in our well established integrated sexual health service in Eastbourne and work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. We are committed to developing the appropriate skills in our nursing team and as such this post can be applied for under the Annex 21 Contract should you require training in order to deliver the necessary level of skill required to meet the job description.
Annex 21 salary will be dependent on current competencies - Salary to be discussed at offer stage

- Registered Nurse/Diploma in nursing
Desirable
- Post registration qualification in GUM speciality or equivalent GUM experience
- Evidence of teaching qualification and/or evidence of teaching
- ENB 998 or equivalent mentor-ship module Family Planning certificate (R71, ENB901 or equivalent)
Experience
Essential
- At least two years working directly with patients preferably in a Sexual Health setting
- Liaison across different health care agencies, including Primary care teams and community services.
- Working in multidisciplinary teams Receiving supervision
- Experience of working with young people, vulnerable people in society
- Experience of child protection and working with under 18's and Frazer guidelines
- GUM/FP/HIV experience or attended sexually transmitted Infections (STIF) course
