Job summary

We are looking for someone who is motivated and enthusiastic to join our Procurement team, the successful candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills.

The Procurement Contract Coordinator is a key role supporting the Contracting team, it will require you to multi-task, utilising your extensive administrative experience to cover a variety of subjects and you will be responsible for delivering relationship management support and specialist contract advice to key stakeholders throughout the contracting cycle. including day to day administration, procurement and financial support, project support, and reporting activities.

Main duties of the job

To provide a professional, effective, efficient, proactive and responsive administration service, and provide project and procurement support.

To manage a diverse workload, effectively ensuring the operational back-office runs smoothly and efficiently.

To manage stakeholder relationships by communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders when dealing with queries which maybe face to face, telephone, video call, email or in writing.

  • Good standard of education including GCSE in English and Maths minimum grade C or equivalent
  • NVQ level 3 in relevant subject or equivalent level of knowledge and experience

Desirable

  • Business related subject (or equivalent) qualification
  • Studying for CIP's qualifications

  • Extensive practical experience of Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Experience of working within an office environment.
