NEW POSITION - DEPUTY LEAD CARDIAC RADIOGRAPHER.

Are you a motivated Cardiac Catheter lab trained radiographer?

At ESHT, we are looking for a deputy Cath lab radiographer to work across both our EDGH and Conquest Hospital sites.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a friendly multi-disciplinary team working in our Philips cath lab in Hastings and the Siemens and GE Cath labs at Eastbourne.

This is a full-time Band 6 position with a small amount of administration duties expected. The successful candidate will also help support the PPCI on call service provided by the trust.

Main duties of the job

As a radiographer working in a multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with IRMER and IRR policies. Furthermore, as a specialist radiographer you will also be expected to have effective leadership, organisational and motivational skills and can work to a high standard, both technically and clinically.

You will be an HCPC registered radiographer and either hold a Bsc in Diagnostic Radiographer or the DCR and demonstrate a flexible approach to working with the Radiology/cardiology departments to meet the needs of the service.

  • Evidence of continued professional development to post graduate diploma level or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Evidence of advanced level continued professional development in speciality

  • Training in supervisory skills / staff management
