Cancer Faster Diagnosis Tracker - Conquest

Job summary

We require a dynamic individual to play a vital role in proactively monitoring and tracking patients on a cancer 28 day faster diagnosis standard (FDS) pathway and inputting the appropriate clock stops. In addition to this, you will also be responsible for supporting the Cancer Patient Pathway Coordinators by monitoring and tracking patients on a 62 day pathway, collating multidisciplinary team meeting (MDM) lists, assisting in the preparation of the meeting, running the meeting where required, and providing any other relevant support.

Main duties of the job

You will need to be confident, proactive and have excellent written and communication skills. The role is extremely busy and involves working within a pressured environment, therefore excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills are a requirement. Experience of using a variety of IT systems, including the Microsoft Office package is essential. Experience of working in the NHS and a good working knowledge of hospital systems are desirable. An understanding of cancer services is highly desirable.
