CYP Starting Well My Wellbeing Advisor

Job summary

The 0-19 Starting Well Service is looking to appoint a My Well Being Advisor to work in the Ellesmere Port and Neston district.

This is a part -time position 30 Hours week working days will be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday , Friday.

The postholder will be expected to provide a welcoming, customer focused, front of house function within the Children Centre sites across the borough. The post holder will contribute to 'Making Every Contact Count' (MECC), by providing a motivational approach to delivering evidence based brief interventions. They will contribute to the wider "wellbeing" agenda by signposting to partner agencies and community resources, to ensure that children and families are fully supported with their needs.

The Trust currently supports the Real Living Wage (RLW) hourly rate as set by the Living Wage Federation and will apply a pay supplement if the national A4C hourly rate falls below this.

Main duties of the job

My Well Being Advisors are key to providing a quality and welcoming front of house, triage and organisational support. First line of enquiry to families for promotion and engagement with the 0-19 Starting Well Service. To engage with families to signpost to key services and multi-agency partners and groups within the community. To deliver brief interventions on a wide range of issues that contribute to health and well-being

To provide administrative support, using electronic records and reporting systems . To contribute to quality assurance to ensure the service meets its performance objectives. To liaise and communicate daily with service users, carers, external agencies, and trust departments. To engage in group delivery .To support the service advisory board meetings .
