Job summary
We are looking to recruit a Newly Qualified GP (ARRS role), the post holder will join our friendly Clinical Team to work across two surgeries in Ellesmere Port - Old Hall Surgery and Westminster Surgery.
The vacancy is a fixed term contract till end of March 2025 for 3 x 4 hours and 10 mins sessions a week.
We are acting in line with NHS England guidance for the recruitment of GPs funded by the Additional Roles Reimbursement GP Recruitment Scheme.
Applicants must not have been substantively employed as a General Medical Practitioner in a general medical practice previously, subject to express agreement with the commissioner
Applicants can have worked in short term and/or as locum roles.
The General Medical Practitioner is NOTbeyond the second anniversary of their certificate of completion of training, issued by the General Medical Council, at the start of their employment or engagement.
We are part of One Ellesmere Port PCN, which is the calibration of the 6 GP practices from across the town who are working together to provide better services for our patient population.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will provide general medical services managing a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.

- A medical practitioner whose name is included in the General Practitioner Register under article 10 of the General and Specialist Medical Practice Order 2003
- Not subject to suspension under section 41A of the Medical Act 1983
- Qualified General Practitioner (completed certificate of Completion of Training - CCT)
