Job summary

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Deputy Head of Clinical Services to join our inpatient services based at Bowmere Hospital, Chester. The postholder will work within a dynamic care group and strong clinical and operational leadership team to ensure service provision is clinically led and managerial enabled; supporting clinical engagement and leadership.

Main duties of the job

As the Deputy Head of Clinical Services, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head of Clinical Services in the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. Your responsibilities will include:

Clinical/Healthcare

Overseeing Quality Assurance; ensuring high quality, safe and effective services are delivered effectively to exceed targets. Reporting and delivering on incidents, action plans and continuous service improvements.

Managerial

An open, inclusive management style that creates a culture of excellence and collaboration. Efficiently managing resources to ensure delivery of safe, effective patient-centered care and exceeding targets.

Leadership

Overseeing a culture in which staff are enabled to be the best that they can be demonstrating commitment to our Trust visions, values, continuous improvement and ensuring the effective management and delivery of the services within their portfolio.

Strategic

Leading on localised place based initiatives, integration and strategies representing CWP and the SMH care group. Translating strategic plans in to operational delivery in to clinical services and are responsible for performance, quality, safety and service.

Working Collaboratively with colleagues across the local health, care and voluntary sector economy to manage and achieve improvements in Trust services generally.
