We are pleased to share the opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic mental health professional to join the Ellesmere Port and Neston Community Mental Health Team.

The successful candidate would be joining a fantastic team who support each other and strive to deliver an exceptional service for its patients. We support the development of Clinical Skills so that we can deliver evidence based interventions for patients. The successful candidate would therefore be joining a highly skilled & supportive team with a range of disciplines and expertise available within the team.

We have robust systems in place to ensure that care can be delivered safely for patients and staff & as a team we work hard to manage workloads to ensure you have the opportunity to have an impact on a service users recovery journey whilst being supported to develop yourself.

Main duties of the job

This is a great time to be joining the team following a period of investment in training and resources.

The post holder will work within a multi-disciplinary framework, undertaking assessments and coordinating the care of patients with both functional and organic mental illness.

The post holder will maintain a caseload which will involve ongoing assessment, formulation of care planning, risk assessments, completing reviews and offering interventions to help improve wellbeing/outcomes for the individual and their families, signposting to other agencies as necessary. Excellent communication, report writing, and assessment skills are essential for this post. Applicants should have sound working knowledge of mental health disorders and the Mental Health Act.
