Job summary

**We offer a relocation package of up to £8,000**

The relocation package is for anyone joining the Trust in a Clinical role who would need to relocate in order to take up employment with Cheshire and Wirral Partnership.

To be eligible for the relocation payment, you must live more than 40 miles from the base/location of the post you are applying for and you would need to relocate to within 15 miles of the new base.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in Central Cheshire NHS Talking Therapies service. We strive to be a committed, high quality clinical team providing evidence-based interventions to the people of Central Cheshire.

We are seeking a highly motivated Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join our valued step 2 team.

Post holders need to be registered with the BABCP or BPS or working towards registration.

Part time hours will be considered.

Main duties of the job

The post-holder will work within Central Cheshire NHS Talking Therapies service providing high volume, low intensity interventions which will be a range of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) based guided self-help interventions to clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression.

The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities.The successful applicant will be required to be flexible in their hours of working as the Talking Therapies service operates 8.00 am - 8.00 pm.

Essential

  • Qualification from PWP Training Course (Post Graduate Certificate or Level 3 undergraduate course) OR equivalent, e.g. Experienced and Qualified Graduate Mental Health Worker with relevant Primary Care experiences and competences as required

Desirable

  • Training in nursing, social work, occupational therapy, counselling or within a psychological therapy.
  • Psychology or other health related undergraduate degree.
  • Psychology or other health related postgraduate degree

Knowledge and Expertise

Essential

  • Demonstrates an understanding of anxiety and depression and how it may present in Primary Care
  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to present information to large groups.
  • Service promotion skills.
