Job summary

We have an opportunity to recruit an Reception/Outpatient Clinic Administrator to support our Adult and Older Adults CMHT within the Central and East Administration Hub at Delamere Resource Centre in Crewe.

We are looking for a motivated and resourceful individual to join our team to coordinate our busy outpatient clinics; booking appointments, sending letters, answering the phones and supporting with Reception desk management. You will be supported by a Front of House Assistant, helping you to manage the phones, desk and room bookings.

You should possess commitment to team working, a positive attitude and innovative delivery of excellent standards of work. This role is great for someone who loves to problem solve, who has good interpersonal skills for communicating with our service users, carers and staff members. Providing customer service service with a smile goes a long way!

The Central and East Administration Service consists of 2 administration hubs. We are a supportive, competent and caring team. We aim to provide high quality administrative support services to our colleagues across the locality to improve the safety, health and well-being of the people within our area.

We will ensure that you have access to internal opportunities for development with access to supervision and appraisal.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will be expected to provide a comprehensive administration service including diary management, undertake typing of correspondence. You will be required to attend meetings, process referrals, maintain and action generic email boxes and make contact with schools, parents/carers and external organisations.

The applicant will also be expected to be able to organise and prioritise their own workload on a daily basis to ensure that time deadlines are met and that urgent work is accommodated.

This is a varied role and can be demanding at times whilst supporting the clinical team. The applicant will also be expected to provide cross cover for colleagues as and when required.
