Mental Health Staff Nurse

Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust

Information:

This job is now closed

Job summary

We are offering fantastic opportunities for previously NMC registered adult, mental health and learning disabilities nurses to return to practice. We will provide a clinical placement within CWP to allow completion of the return to practice programme for renewal of lapsed NMC Registration.

If you have been off the NMC register for more than 3 years or are unable to revalidate due to insufficient hours worked, we will work with you and support you in regaining the skills and confidence to return to the register.

Main duties of the job

This is a training post that will provide support to re-enter the NMC register. Routes available are either a Return to Practice programme or NMC Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE). This application process will allow us to work with you towards a pathway to return to practice that best suits your needs.

You will work under the supervision of a practice assessor and practice supervisor or with the NMC OSCE team to provide a high standard of safe, individualised, holistic and evidence-based patient focused care. The Returning nurse will gather evidence of clinical skills, knowledge and hours required to meet the NMC requirements for re-registration.

Potential band/salary: You would eventually re-join at band 5.
