Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Learning Disability Nurse to join the Wirral Community Learning Disability Team, which provides multidisciplinary care to people with learning disabilities, from its base at Leasowe Millennium Centre. The CLDT is co-located with social care and has excellent working relationships with the ICB meaning that good multiagency working is achieved.

The CLDT is part of Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Learning Disabilities, Neuro Developmental & Acquired Brain Injury Care Group, and has excellent governance structures. We have strong links to local universities as a Trust, and take an active role in leading in Clinical Research.

Main duties of the job

We require a practitioner with considerable experience, who can work alongside the wider Multi-Disciplinary Team and leadership in relation to ensuring high quality evidence based and innovative practice.
