We are seeking an ambitious Clinical Psychologist to join our Cheshire-wide Intensive Support Function (ISF) who is passionate about bringing positive change to the lives of young people with Autism and/or Learning Disabilities. This is an exciting post with much support, flexibility and development opportunity.
We work closely alongside stakeholders to prevent hospital admission by providing intensive support that includes comprehensive assessment, formulation and creative interventions.
The ISF service is part of our LD/NDD clinical group and has been operational for the last year and thus there are many service-development opportunities. You would be joining a mixed and skilled team.
You would be leading on psychological and clinical provision, offering strategic input, providing supervisions/consultations, implementing adapted, person-centred therapies (e.g. PBS approach). We would look to support your own development needs, there is a growing psychology workforce across the trust and good links to our Northwest training programmes.
We also host the Centre for Autism, Neurodevelopmental Disorders and Intellectual Disabilities (CANDDID).
ISF use different bases, thus flexibility and travel expenses support each team member. The post does require the ability to travel across the Cheshire area.
The post will be considered as Full time or Part time.
We would welcome discussion of this post if considering this as a progression post.
