Wirral Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) is a therapy-based service which offers support to children and young people with moderate to severe mental health difficulties and their families and carers. We work in close alignment with the Local Authority, Education and the Voluntary Sector. Our aim is to ensure that children receive the right support, from the right service at the right time.
Due to the current national focus on children's services and subsequent investment an exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the development of CAMHS service in Wirral in response to this challenge
The team are based at the The Birch Centre at St Catherine's Hospital in Birkenhead.
Supporting professional development through access to training is actively facilitated and encouraged.
Access to transport for work purposes is essential.

Main duties of the job
You will be an experienced clinician who will work closely with CAMHS leads, Eating Disorder specialists and members of core CAMHS to provide assessment and intervention within a multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidates will be committed to helping to develop and drive the CAMHS service forward.
We seek to appoint enthusiastic and dynamic individuals who are passionate about CYP mental health, with a demonstrable track record of CAMHS clinical and supervisory experience. You will be a CAMHS professional, registered with a professional body (nurse, social worker OT or allied professional) or have equivalent qualifications and accreditation
